Roberto Mannino is an Italian American paper artist and art educator living and working in Rome. He holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) as well as a degree in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. He currently teaches papermaking and sculpture at Temple University Rome and Loyola John Felice Rome Center (JFRC) and woodcarving at the Municipal School of Arts and Crafts in Rome. He has taught as visiting professor at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD; has offered workshops on 3D and relief papermaking at Dieu Donné, Cooper Union, Pyramid Atlantic and various institutions throughout Europe.
